Shipping tips
A well-packed puzzle arrives safely. Here's how to prepare your swap shipment so both parties are happy.
Choosing the right box
A padded envelope or a small flat-rate box works well. Keep total weight under 500 g.
Use a medium flat-rate box or a snug corrugated box. Leave as little empty space as possible.
Ship in the original box if it's intact. Wrap it in a second corrugated box with 3 cm of padding on each side.
Packing checklist
- ✓ Seal puzzle pieces in a zip-lock bag before placing in the box.
- ✓ If the original box lid is loose, wrap it tightly with clear packing tape.
- ✓ Fill voids with crumpled newspaper, kraft paper, or bubble wrap.
- ✓ Write the recipient's address on the outside of the outer box, not the puzzle box.
- ✓ Attach a note with your Moja Table username so the receiver can easily confirm arrival.
Carriers & cost estimates
Costs are approximate for domestic shipping within Canada. International swaps will vary.
| Size | Canada Post | UPS / FedEx |
|---|---|---|
| Small (< 500 pcs) | ~$8 – 14 | ~$12 – 18 |
| Medium (500 – 1 500) | ~$14 – 22 | ~$18 – 28 |
| Large (2 000 +) | ~$20 – 35 | ~$25 – 45 |
Insurance & tracking
Always request a tracking number. For puzzles worth $30 or more, add $2–5 of shipping insurance — it covers loss or damage.
Share the tracking number with your swap partner in the app chat so they know when to expect the parcel.
🛡 Community safety tip
Moja Table's trust system only allows a review after both parties confirm arrival. Never skip the in-app confirmation step — it protects your community rating.
